How to use Carnozol Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Carnozol 20 mg/75 mg Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.

How Carnozol Capsule works

Carnozol 20 mg/75 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Rabeprazole and Zinc Carnosine which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Zinc Carnosine is a nutritional supplement which speeds up the healing of ulcers in stomach and intestine.

Carnozol Capsule related warnings

Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
Carnozol 20 mg/75 mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Carnozol 20 mg/75 mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Carnozol 20 mg/75 mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Carnozol 20 mg/75 mg Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
