How it works

Calcium containing preparations (including calcium salts such as, calcium carbonate, calcium citrate, calcium lactate, calcium gluconate, and phosphate) belong to a group of medicines called calcium supplements. Calcium, stored mostly in bones and teeth, is required by the body for maintaining bones, muscles, nervous system, and healthy heart.
