Medicine Overview of C.P. Mol Tablet
Sleepiness, Allergic reaction.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. C.P. Mol Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
C.P. Mol Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve common cold symptoms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Taking Chlorpheniramine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
C.P. Mol Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
C.P. Mol Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of C.P. Mol Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
C.P. Mol Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
C.P. Mol Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of C.P. Mol Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Use of C.P. Mol Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
C.P. Mol Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of C.P. Mol Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of C.P. Mol Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
