How C Tri XP Injection works

C Tri XP 500mg/62.5mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.

Kidney
There is limited information available on the use of C Tri XP 500mg/62.5mg Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
C Tri XP 500mg/62.5mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of C Tri XP 500mg/62.5mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
