Butenaskin Cream

Overview

Introduction

Butenaskin Cream is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It kills fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering.

Butenaskin Cream is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. The amount you need, and how long you take it will depend on what you are being treated for. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine. You should avoid getting in contact with your mouth, eyes and nose. In case of accidental contact, wash it off with plenty of water. Keep using it regularly to get the most benefit.

The most common side effects include burning sensation, itching, or stinging sensation. They are not usually serious and often disappear with time. If they bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using the medicine.
