Uses

Bevac injection is used to prevent hepatitis b.

How it works

Hepatitis B vaccines are used for active immunisation against hepatitis B infection. Two types of vaccine have been available each containing hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) adsorbed onto aluminium hydroxide or a similar adsorbent.

Common side effects

Nausea, Neuropathy, Pain, Paralysis, Abdominal pain, Anaphylactic reaction, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), Convulsion, Diarrhoea, Dizziness, Fatigue, Fever, Headache, Decreased blood pressure, Itching, Feeling of discomfort, Meningitis, Muscle pain, Rash, Skin redness, Vomiting, Weakness
