Betnitek Lotion

Betnitek Lotion belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used for the treatment of skin disorders such as dermatitis and psoriasis. It relieves swelling, itching, and redness of the skin by suppressing the release of substances that cause inflammation.

Betnitek Lotion is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply it thinly and evenly over the area. You should not use it too often and more than what your doctor has prescribed. Avoid covering the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

The most common side effects of this medicine include burning, irritation, itching, redness at the site of application. These are usually temporary and improve with time. However, if they persist or get worse you should let your doctor know. Before using the medicine, consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• It should be applied to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
• Don't use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
• Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
• If you think the area of skin you are treating has become infected you should stop using Betnitek Lotion and consult your doctor.
• Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.
