How to use B Liv Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. B Liv Tablet may be taken with or without food.

How B Liv Tablet works

B Liv Tablet is a combination of L-Ornithine L-Aspartate, Metadoxine, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), and Silymarin. L-Ornithine L-Aspartate is a combination of two amino acids. Metadoxine is an antioxidant and Silymarin is obtained from milk thistle seeds (Silybum marianum). Together, they work by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Additional to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, Metadoxine works by increasing alcohol elimination from the blood and tissues, thus preventing liver damage. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is a form of vitamin B that provides nutritional benefits.

Quick tips

  • B Liv Tablet protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.
  • Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels every month for the next 3 months after the start of therapy, and every 6 months thereafter.
  • You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with B Liv Tablet.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning.
  • Avoid fatty food, take a healthy diet, and exercise regularly.
