Product introduction

Take Alunbrig 180mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Continue taking the medicine until your doctor tells you to stop, even if you feel well. Attend all scheduled appointments and blood tests so your doctor can monitor your response to treatment and manage any side effects early.


The most common side effects include diarrhea, fatigue, nausea, rash, cough, headache, hypertension, and vomiting. Some people may also experience changes in blood sugar levels, muscle enzyme levels, pancreatic enzyme levels, or vision. Contact your doctor if any side effect becomes severe or does not improve, or if you notice new or worsening breathing problems, vision changes, severe muscle pain or weakness, or symptoms of high blood pressure.


Before starting Alunbrig 180mg Tablet treatment, tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and medications you are taking. Your doctor will check your blood pressure, blood sugar, liver function, and pancreatic enzyme levels before and during treatment. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop new or worsening breathing problems, a slow heartbeat, vision changes, or severe muscle pain. This medicine may harm an unborn baby. Women should use effective non-hormonal contraception during treatment.

Quick tips

  • Attend all scheduled follow-up visits and blood tests so your doctor can monitor your blood pressure, blood sugar, liver function, muscle enzymes, and pancreatic enzymes during treatment.
  • Be especially alert for new or worsening breathing problems during the first week of treatment and report them immediately.
  • Tell your doctor promptly if you notice blurred vision, double vision, or any other changes in your eyesight, as an eye examination may be needed.
  • Protect your skin from sunlight by wearing protective clothing and applying sunscreen during treatment and for at least 5 days after your last dose.
  • Inform your doctor about all medicines, vitamins, herbal products, and dietary supplements before starting or stopping any medicine to help avoid drug interactions.
