Alfexo 120 Tablet is usually taken before a meal. The dose and duration are advised by your doctor. The dose depends on your condition and how you respond to treatment. Take it regularly as prescribed and continue for the duration recommended by your doctor.

The most common side effects are headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and nausea. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or get worse. Your doctor may be able to help prevent or treat the symptoms.

Do not self-medicate or share this medicine with others, even if symptoms appear similar. Inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, or heart problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

• Avoid drinking fruit juices (such as grapefruit, apple, or orange juice), as they may affect the absorption of this medicine and reduce its effectiveness.
• Avoid taking antacids within 2 hours of taking this medicine. They can make it harder for your body to absorb it.
• Never give this medicine to someone who appears to have a similar illness. It should be taken only if prescribed by a doctor.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of sleepiness. Although this medicine is less likely to reach the brain and generally causes minimal sedation, alcohol may enhance its effects.
• Stop taking Alfexo 120 Tablet at least 3 days before undergoing an allergy test. This medicine can affect the test results.
• If you have seasonal allergies, keep windows closed during high-pollen or high-wind periods. Take more care, especially in the early morning when pollen counts are typically highest.
• Stop taking the medication and contact your doctor immediately if you notice a rapid heartbeat, an irregular pulse, or palpitations.
