Alex P Syrup is used in the treatment of common cold and cough associated with fever in children. It provides relief from pain and fever and helps treat cough and common cold symptoms like runny nose, stuffy nose, and sneezing.
Alex P Syrup is a combination of H1 antihistaminic (first generation), analgesic & antipyretic-PCM,, mucolytic, sympathomimetic-α1 (nasal), and menthol.

In Common cold
Alex P Syrup effectively relieves symptoms associated with common cold in children, such as fever, blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier. Alex P Syrup usually starts working within a few minutes, and the effects can last up to several hours.
In Treatment of Dry cough
A dry cough, also known as non-productive cough, is a cough where no phlegm or mucus is produced. This is irritating, usually associated with a tickly throat and may be caused due to cold, flu, allergies or throat irritants. Alex P Syrup suppresses dry, hacking coughs. How Alex P Syrup works
Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Sodium Citrate is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.
