How Alersin-Total Tablet SR works

Alersin-Total Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves your symptoms.

I am having occasional cough from more than 15 days.It started with paining in the throat after which i got cold and then cough.It was too much in the starting days and lot of mucus was produced. Now i don't have a consistent cough but it is occasional and i have tried various medicenes since 2 weeks like atm 500 with ascoril d syrup.I am worried that is it because of asthma?
