Alenost D Tablet is best taken on an empty stomach. Take it consistently at the same time every day. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. It may take several days to get the full benefit of this drug. Do not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is alright to stop. This medicine may be just one part of a treatment plan that could also include dietary changes, additional medications, vitamin supplements, and exercise.

The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, back pain, musculoskeletal (bone, muscle, or joint) pain, heartburn, and diarrhea. These are generally mild and usually resolve on their own. If they do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before using the Alenost D Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions or disorders. To make sure the medicine is safe for you, let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. Take it on the same day each week, in the morning, at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking anything.
Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking the medication so the medicine does not irritate your esophagus (food pipe).
Take care of your teeth and jaw while taking the Alenost D Tablet. Also, take regular dental checkups while taking Alenost D Tablet. Take a calcium and vitamin-enriched diet.
