How to use Actiffit Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Actiffit 500mg/32mg/25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Actiffit 500mg/32mg/25mg Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

How Actiffit Tablet works

Actiffit 500mg/32mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol / Acetaminophen, Caffeine and Phenylpropanolamine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of paracetamol. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion.

CAUTION
Taking phenylpropanolamine with alcohol can increase the risk of cardiovascular side effects such as increased heart rate, chest pain, or blood pressure changes.
Pregnancy

Actiffit 500mg/32mg/25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Driving
