A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet



A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet is used to treat common cold symptoms. It relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. It narrows the small blood vessels, providing relief from congestion or stuffiness.

It is taken with food, preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. If you have suffered or are currently suffering from any heart, liver or kidney disease, inform your doctor before taking this medicine.

It may cause nausea, dryness in mouth, fatigue, headache, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), and dry mouth. it may also cause some amount of dizziness, so do not drive or do anything that needs attention.

How A Cold Tablet works

A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cetirizine, Paracetamol/Acetaminophen and Pseudoephedrine, which relieves common cold symptoms. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which blocks histamine (a chemical messenger) to relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet.

A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of A Cold 5mg/500mg/30mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
