Thrombophob Gel

Use Thrombophob Gel as advised by your doctor. This medicine is meant for external use only. It should be applied only to the affected area of the skin as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. To get the most benefit, apply it regularly. Do not use larger amounts, apply it more often, or use it for a longer duration than directed. This will only increase the risk of side effects.

Local side effects, such as rashes, may occur after application. This is usually temporary and resolves quickly. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the medicine in these areas. Consult your doctor if you experience any symptoms that bother you or if your condition does not improve.

Do not use Thrombophob Gel if you are allergic to heparin or any of its ingredients. Use with caution in conditions such as hemorrhagic edema, as close monitoring may be required. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should let their doctor know to make sure it is safe for them.

The dose of Thrombophob Gel depends on the condition being treated, the area affected, and your response to treatment. It is usually applied to the affected area two or three times a day, or as advised by your doctor. Your doctor will decide how much to apply and how long you should continue treatment.

Use Thrombophob Gel exactly as directed and do not apply it more often or for longer than recommended. Do not apply it to open wounds, damaged skin, or sensitive areas unless your doctor tells you to do so. If irritation develops or your symptoms do not improve, consult your doctor.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Thrombophob Gel, please consult your doctor.

Overdose

Limited information is available on overdose. In case of suspected overdose, stop using the medicine and contact your doctor. Treatment is usually symptomatic and supportive.

• Apply Thrombophob Gel only to the affected area as instructed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands with soap before and after applying Thrombophob Gel to prevent accidental contact with other areas.
• Apply a thin layer of Thrombophob Gel and spread it gently without vigorous rubbing.
• Use Thrombophob Gel only on intact skin and avoid applying it on open wounds, cuts, or near the eyes, nose, or mouth.
• Stop using Thrombophob Gel and consult your doctor if you notice itching, rash, or irritation at the application site.
• This medicine is meant for surface vein or local skin conditions and cannot treat deep vein problems such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
• If you experience severe swelling, warmth in the leg, or sudden chest pain, seek immediate medical attention.
