Emolene Cream is for external use only. You should always use it exactly as your doctor has told you. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Use the medicine regularly to get the most benefit. Avoid applying to open wounds or infected skin. You should not get it in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
It is generally safe and does not usually cause any side effects. However, if you experience any unusual symptoms while using this medicine, let your doctor know.
