X-Ray LS Spine AP View or X-ray lumbosacral spine anteroposterior view uses X-rays to obtain images of your spine. These images help determine the severity and source causing your back or neck pain.

An abnormal x-ray may help indicate injuries, congenital abnormalities (inherited bone disorders), abnormalities in the curvature of the spine, wear or stress on the cartilage and bones of the lower spine, narrowing of the joints between the vertebrae, signs of thinning bones (osteoporosis), spondylolisthesis (dislocation of the vertebra), fractures or other illnesses in the spinal bones.
