NCCT Scan Coccygeal Spine
The {test_naeme} of the coccygeal spine is a diagnostic procedure where rotating beams X-ray is used to create a cross-sectional area of the coccyx. The coccyx is a triangular bony projection at the end of the vertebral column. A CT scan shows detailed images of any part of the body, including the bones, muscles, fat, and organs.
This procedure is prescribed by a doctor to detect the cause of unexplained back pain, to detect fractures, inflammations, or infections of the vertebral bones not visible on a simple X-ray, to detect malformations or genetic defects during spinal development in children, and be used to visibly identify damage to the coccygeal part of the spinal column.
One can keep the spine strong and healthy by exercising regularly, walking, jogging, swimming, and maintaining good posture.
