Know more about this test

A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Dacrocystography creates a picture of the lacrimal sacs (which links the external eye to the nasal cavity) and their attached parts.
This test is prescribed by the doctor to detect lacrimal sac diseases like dacryocystitis (tear duct infection), and to diagnose lacrimal gland tumors. This test is also helpful in evaluating blocked tear ducts, especially in newborn babies.
