Know more about this test

The Dual Phase CECT Abdomen an imaging procedure that creates cross-sectional images at different optimal scanning times for the liver and pancreas. These images provide detailed information about the abdomen. It provides more detailed information as compared to X-ray.
This test is prescribed by the doctor to diagnose the cause of any pain, tenderness, and suspected perforation of the stomach, to determine the suspected gallstones or kidney stones. This test is also helpful in detecting cancer of the stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen, intestines, bladders, and other soft tissues of the abdominal region.
CT exams generally use a small amount of radiation and are therefore considered relatively safer as compared to X-rays.
