CT Scan Triple Phase Abdomen Angiography (CTA)

The CT Scan Triple Phase Abdomen Angiography (CTA) is an imaging procedure advised to diagnose abdominal disorders, tumours or lesions, injuries in your abdominal organs (liver, pancreas, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, spleen, and the surrounding areas). It is done in three phases: the first phase is without the contrast, the second phase involves injecting the contrast to view the internal structures, and the third phase is viewing the organs after flushing out the contrast material.
The doctor may suggest to remove all metal accessories before the procedure. Also, inform your doctor if you have any metallic devices in your body to avoid interruptions during the scan. Let your doctor know, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have allergies, or any other health problem.
