Who should get tested?

• Any adult who wants to understand their genetic risk for breast or ovarian cancer and create a proactive mitigation plan

• Individuals who have family history of breast and related cancers

• Individuals with higher risk of breast cancer

• Individuals who had other genetic disorders related to breast cancer

What does the report tell me?

• The report calls out any variations in Hereditary Breast & Ovarian Cancer Risk – A comprehensive Test will report on any familial mutations in 2 prominent genes associated with Breast & Ovarian Cancer.  

• This test covers the following 4 genes: BRCA 1, BRCA 2, PALB2, and TP53. 

• A positive result will mean the presence of harmful mutations that increase the chance of acquiring Breast or Ovarian cancer in one’s lifetime.

Next steps post getting the report:

• The reports show the results are segmented across Adult-Onset Disorders (Inherited Cancer Risk, Inherited Cardiovascular risk, Inherited Risk of Inborn metabolism errors). In addition, Carrier Risk is screened for as well as a Pharmacogenomic Assessment.

• Once the report is released, you will receive an email to access to dashboard (the Dashboard has the feasibility for the customer for Genetic counseling appointment booking)
