Arsenic Urine in Indore

An arsenic urine test is suggested in case of a known acute or chronic exposure to arsenic, but exposure is unknown. This test helps to differentiate between toxic inorganic, benign organic, and methylated. The interpreted report is based on the total toxic inorganic, total benign organic, and total methylated species.

For this test, a random urine sample or 24-hour urine collection is needed. The normal urine arsenic value is ≤50 micrograms per litre (mcg/L). This test helps to diagnose if you have been exposed to arsenic in the normal range. However, it won't be helpful in whether the high arsenic level will affect normal body functions.
