3D-CT Scan Left Heel

3D CT Heel Joint test is a medical diagnostic imaging technique that produces 3D images of the left heel and surrounding area of the foot. It can detect arthritis, chronic infections, flat feet, bone deformities, blood vessels constrictions, soft tissue injury, inflammation, and tumors.

During this procedure, a beam of X-rays is used to take hundreds of 2-D images. These images are combined to form a final clear 3-D picture that shows the internal condition of the foot. The procedure takes around 15 to 30 minutes.

Some people may feel nauseous or stomach upset due to the radiation effect. Apart from the exam gown, no other body ornaments are worn during the scan. Women who are pregnant must inform the doctor beforehand.
