Zocon-T Kit is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge. It fights against infection by stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms. It also prevents the further spread of the infection.

Zocon-T Kit is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.

Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, etc. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.

How Zocon-T Tablet works

Consumption of alcohol with Zocon-T Kit may cause a disulfiram-like reaction, leading to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, nausea, lightheadedness, and severe headache.

Pregnancy

CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Zocon-T Kit is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk based on animal studies. However, it may still be prescribed by a doctor in situations where the benefits outweigh the risks.

Breast feeding

CAUTION

Zocon-T Kit should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.
If a single dose of Zocon-T Kit is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

Driving

Zocon-T Kit may cause side effects that could affect your ability to drive.
Zocon-T Kit may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

Zocon-T Kit is unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided.
Caution to be advised in patients with impaired renal function.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Zocon-T Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data suggest dose adjustment may not be needed.

What if you forget to take Zocon-T Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Zocon-T Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hello. Welcome to 1mg. I have read your query. I understand your concern. For Fungal infection , I prefer to advise oral itraconazole for cases not responding to fluconazole or terbinafine. Apply sertraconazole cream. You need to continue the medications for atleast 6 - 8 weeks. Keep the area clean and dry. I hope it helps. Take care
