How Zecal Tablet works

Zecal Active Tablet is a combination of three medicines: calcium citrate malate, vitamin D3, and folic acid. Calcium citrate malate is a water-soluble calcium supplement. It increases the plasma calcium levels. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D. It raises vitamin D levels in your blood. This, in turn, raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from food. Folic acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby's brain and spinal cord.

These may include swelling of the face, lips, or throat (which could be an allergic reaction), vomiting or severe stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, or very frequent urination and excessive thirst (which may indicate high calcium levels).
You should avoid taking Zecal Active Tablet with spinach or rhubarb, as they contain oxalates that block calcium absorption. Whole grain cereals should also be avoided since they contain phytates that reduce absorption. Additionally, limit foods and drinks high in caffeine or alcohol, as they may lower calcium levels in the body.
Yes, use Zecal Active Tablet cautiously if you have kidney problems, immobilized bones (for say, in long-term bed rest), high phosphate levels, or sarcoidosis (lumps or nodules formation in lungs, lymph nodes, and other parts of the body). Your doctor may monitor your blood and urine calcium levels to prevent complications.
