Pepsin(NA)

Uses

Pepsin is used in the treatment of indigestion and pancreatitis.

How it works

Pepsin is an enzyme whose zymogen (pepsinogen) is released by the chief cells in the stomach and that degrades food proteins into peptides.

Simethicone is used in the treatment of bloating and abdominal pain.

How it works

Simethicone disintegrates the gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
