General Information

Your child’s medicine at a glance
Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop is meant for external use only. Put this medicine in your child’s affected ear as prescribed by the doctor. Maintain good ear hygiene while using Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop in your child’s ear. Do not let the medicine applicator touch your child’s ear to avoid the chances of contamination. To put the medicine, hold the earlobe down and push it backward gently. Don’t be alarmed if your child reports a popping sound as this happens when the medicine drops work their way down. Wipe off the extra medicine with clean tissue paper.
Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop is a good option for children having recurrent ear wax issues. Give Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop in the dose and frequency as prescribed by your child's doctor. Usually, 2 drops of the medicine are prescribed to be given every 4 hours for 5 to 7 days. Do not overuse it as that may lead to ear discomfort. If you are to treat both ears, wait for a few minutes after putting the medicine in one ear. This will allow better absorption and avoid leaking out of the medicine. Make sure not to stop the medicine without consulting your child’s doctor. If the child does not feel any relief after treatment then it would be best to go to seek a professional help.
Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop is a relatively safe medicine to be used in children and has minimal side effects. However, it may cause mild and temporary irritation in the ear on application. Never self-medicate and do not use Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop without consulting the doctor, especially if your child has an ear infection.

Benefits of Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop for your child
Earwax is a glandular secretion that helps moisturize and protect the ears. It also helps remove dirt and dead skin cells in the ear. Accumulation of wax in the ear is usually asymptomatic but can occasionally cause bothersome symptoms, such as hearing loss and/or ear discomfort. Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop acts as a lubricant and helps to soften or break the earwax plugs, making it easier for it to move out of the canal.

How can I give Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop to my child?
How Wax-Off Ear Drop works
Quick tips
- Understand that earwax is normal. If it does not cause bothersome symptoms, it should not be tampered with.
- Do not use cotton swabs or buds to clean your child’s ear as it pushes the earwax deep inside and makes the wax difficult to extract.
- Abstain your child from rolling fingers and scratching their ear canal soon after putting the medicine to avoid the medicine from draining out and risk of infection.
- Ask your child to keep lying down for at least 2-3 minutes after putting Wax-Off Kid Ear Drop. Doing so allows the medicine to soak into the ear wax.
- Replace the medicine cap immediately after use.
- Inform the child's doctor about anything abnormal such as blood, oozing, pain, or change in hearing.
