Product introduction

Vovedex Tablet should be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, liver, or have stomach ulcers. How Vovedex Tablet works

Vovedex Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) as well as an antipyretic (fever reducer). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). Together, both of them work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic ( very strong pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower the pain perception.

  • Vovedex Tablet is used to treat various painful conditions.
  • Do not take any other medicines containing Paracetamol in it without consulting your doctor.
  • Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
  • Drink plenty of water while taking Vovedex Tablet.
  • If you have asthma, symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness might become worse by Vovedex Tablet. If this happens to you, consult your doctor immediately.

Vovedex Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Vovedex Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
