If you miss a dose by less than 6 hours, take it as soon as you remember. If more than 6 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the usual time. If you vomit after taking a dose, do not take another dose. Continue treatment unless your doctor tells you to stop, and attend all scheduled blood tests to monitor your liver function and overall health.
The most common side effects include increased liver enzyme levels, fatigue, headache, decreased platelets, musculoskeletal pain, diarrhea, nausea, and seizures. Some people may also experience dizziness. Contact your doctor if you develop yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, unusual bleeding, persistent diarrhea, or any side effect that becomes severe or does not go away.

Your doctor will perform liver function tests before starting treatment and regularly during treatment because this medicine can cause serious liver problems.
