How to use Volik D Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

How Volik D Tablet works

Volik D Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Dextropropoxyphene which relieve pain. Diclofenac and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain. Dextropropoxyphene works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking Diclofenac+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Dextropropoxyphene with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Volik D Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Volik D Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Even small doses of Volik D Tablet can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Volik D Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Volik D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Volik D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Volik D Tablet is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Volik D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Volik D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
