Product introduction

VM-Guard Cream is a combination of medicines used to treat dermatitis, fungal infections, and other skin conditions with inflammation and itching. It kills the microorganisms that cause the infection and stops their multiplications. It also helps reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching.

VM-Guard Cream is for external use only. However, use it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not use it in more than the recommended amount as that can increase its absorption and cause side effects. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse these areas with cold water.

This medicine is generally safe to use with no common side effects. However, if you experience any unusual side effects from applying this medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to help by changing the medicine or reducing its dose.

It is unlikely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way VM-Guard Cream works, but inform your doctor in case you are taking any other medicines. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also consult their doctors before using this medicine.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

How VM-Guard Cream works

VM-Guard Cream is a combination of different antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory medications. Chlorocresol helps prevent or reduce the growth of bacteria and fungi on the skin's surface. Clioquinol, on the other hand, is an antifungal and antibacterial agent that is effective against a wide range of fungal and bacterial species. In combination with chlorocresol, it provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity to combat infections. Clobetasol has strong anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It helps to reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching associated with various skin conditions. Gentamicin targets and inhibits protein synthesis in certain bacteria. Ketoconazole causes holes to appear in the fungus's cell membrane and their contents to leak out. This kills the fungus and treats the infection.
