Trois CX Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. You should take it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, diarrhea, and stomach pain. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.

Trois CX Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Trois CX Tablet also helps reduce fever associated with muscle spasm. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

How Trois CX Tablet works

Trois CX Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Lornoxicam, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Quick tips

You have been prescribed Trois CX Tablet to get relief from pain and stiffness in the muscles.
You may see results within 1.5 to 2 hours after taking this medicine. Take it exactly as advised by your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures.
Along with taking Trois CX Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain.

Alcohol should be used with caution while taking Trois CX Tablet.

Pregnancy

UNSAFE

Trois CX Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Breast feeding

CAUTION

Trois CX Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.

Driving

UNSAFE

Trois CX Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Trois CX Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Liver

UNSAFE

Trois CX Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
However, the use of Trois CX Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
