Tritanrix HB Injection is a combination of four medicines used in the prevention of tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. It is also used in the prevention of hepatitis B infections. It stimulates the immune system to act against microorganisms to prevent such infections.

Product introduction

Tritanrix HB Injection is administered by a healthcare professional. It may cause redness, soreness, and swelling at the site of infusion. This usually goes away with time. It can be taken by patients irrespective of age.

It helps the immune system to produce antibodies to fight against tetanus infection. However, it does not provide lifelong protection. Children need to get a booster shot at 11 or 12 years of age. Prevention of Pertussis
Pertussis (often called whooping cough) is an infection of the airways that can occur at any age but mostly affects infants and young children. Prevention of Diphtheria
Diphtheria is a bacterial infection that causes pain and swelling in the throat. This might cause difficulty in breathing. It might also damage the heart, kidneys and nerves. Tritanrix HB Injection gives protection against diphtheria. It is recommended to get your child vaccinated against diphtheria starting at 6 weeks through 6 years. Prevention of Hepatitis B infection
