How Trigabantin Tablet works

Trigabantin 100 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Gabapentin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Gabapentin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid which has a protective effect on brain and nerve tissue. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

Trigabantin can make you feel hungry and it can be a difficult to stop yourself form putting on weight. However, preventing weight gain is easier than losing increased weight. Try to eat a healthy balanced diet without increasing your portion size. Don't eat foods that contain lot of calories, such as soft drinks, oily food, chips, cakes, biscuits, and sweets. If you feel hungry between meals, eat fruit, vegetables and low-calorie foods. Regular exercise will also help to keep your weight stable. If you keep good eating habits and exercise regularly, you might not gain any weight.
