How to use Tovaxo-T Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Tovaxo-T Eye Drop works

Tovaxo-T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Travoprost (topical). Timolol is a prostaglandin analogue while Travoprost (topical) is a beta blocker. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

Tovaxo-T Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

To reduce the amount of Tovaxo-T Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Driving
Tovaxo-T Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
Tovaxo-T Eye Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tovaxo-T Eye Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Tovaxo-T Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tovaxo-T Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
