How Torex Syrup works
Diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride, terpin hydrate and sodium citrate which relieve cough. Ammonium chloride and terpin hydrate are expectorants which decrease the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Sodium citrate is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
