Toptrip-Plus Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. How Toptrip-Plus Tablet works

Toptrip-Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Trypsin Chymotrypsin, which relieves pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Trypsin Chymotrypsin is a combination of enzymes which break down proteins into smaller fragments, thereby making them available for absorption into the blood. Once absorbed, they increase blood supply in the affected area and reduce swelling.

Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage due to long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.

Toptrip-Plus Tablet contains Paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.

If you forget to take the scheduled dose of Toptrip-Plus Tablet and it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you missed because this may increase the risk of unwanted side effect.
