Tiflam MR Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

Using this medicine may cause common side effects such as nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, weakness, dizziness, and sleepiness. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

Tiflam MR Tablet is a combination of two pain relievers (Ibuprofen, Paracetamol) and a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles.

It should also be avoided in patients with history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Yes, Tiflam MR Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Tiflam MR Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing your symptoms.

No, there is no report of any patient getting addicted to Tiflam MR Tablet.

Can the use of Tiflam MR Tablet cause damage to kidneys?

Yes, the long-term use of Tiflam MR Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.
