Terbonik OC Cream is a combination of four medicines: Terbinafine, Clobetasol, Ofloxacin and Ornidazole which treat skin infections. Terbinafine is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging the DNA.
Terbonik OC Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Terbonik oc should not be used on the face. Do not use the medication for longer periods of time than you have been advised. Do not apply a bandage or dressing to the area being treated, as this will increase absorption of the preparation and increase the risk of side-effects.This medicine should only be used by the patient, never give it to other people even if their condition appears to be the same.

Follow the directions given by the healthcare provider on the medicine. Apply the medication to the affected skin areas thinly and in sufficient quantity to cover the affected areas. No, do not overuse Terbonik oc for long periods or on large areas of skin. It can result in too much medicine being absorbed into the body.
