Tenovate GN Cream


Introduction

Tenovate GN Cream is used to treat various types of skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. It also prevents the growth of infection-causing microorganisms to promote faster healing of infections.

Tenovate GN Cream is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. Wash your hands before and after the application of the medicine. If it gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina rinse with water. It may take several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed to ensure better efficacy of the medicine. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor.

This medicine is usually safe, however, it may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are usually mild and self-limiting. Serious side effects are rare. You must consult the doctor if you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.).

It also blocks the release of chemicals that cause symptoms such as itching, redness and swelling. Therefore this medicine relieves the inflammation due to these infections.
You should use Tenovate GN Cream for as long as it is prescribed, even if your symptoms disappear, otherwise they may come back. Depending on the type of infection you are treating, this may be several weeks. Even after your infection is completely cured, you may have to apply it occasionally to prevent the symptoms from returning.

Tenovate GN Cream is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Neomycin, which treats bacterial skin infections Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

sir i have keloids problem in chest, right now i am using Kayavate cream 0.05%. Due to non availability i started using Tenovate Cream. Please tell me In tenovate, there are 3 or four option (tenovate M, NM,GN, G) Please tell tenovate which option is best for keloid and if there is other option please tell me

Treatment for Keloid:- Not to be removed surgically as changes of recurrence are there. An injection to be given inside the lesion over chest once in 3 weeks(Injection Kenacort 40mg/ml) once in 3 weeks. To be given 6-8 times depending upon thickness. Contractubex gel to be applied twice daily at home for 2-3 month. Additional treatment treatment may involves use of cryotherapy (freezing technology) to shrink the lesion. These can be done by a dermatologist near you.

There could be an increased hair growth. The medicine may get absorbed into the blood circulation and can cause weight gain, high blood pressure and rounding of the face. If you experience an increased severity of your symptoms, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.

No, do not stop using Tenovate GN Cream and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
