Product introduction

Tapal P Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.

Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, sleepiness, vomiting, and dizziness. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them by prescribing you an alternative medicine or by adjusting the dose.

How Tapal P Tablet works

Tapal P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: tapentadol and paracetamol which relieve pain. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.

Tapal P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
However, Tapal P Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

Tapal P Tablet is unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
However, the use of Tapal P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
