Tanstrive 80mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medicine that blocks RET, a protein involved in the growth and survival of some cancer cells. It is used for certain RET fusion-positive lung and thyroid cancers and RET-mutant medullary thyroid cancer.

Take Tanstrive 80mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose may vary as per your body weight or body surface area (in case of younger children). It is usually taken two times a day at regular time intervals. Swallow it whole and do not crush or chew it. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take because some medicines may interact with Tanstrive 80mg Tablet in your body.

Common side effects may include swelling, diarrhea, tiredness, dry mouth, abdominal pain, constipation, rash, nausea, headache, and increased blood pressure. Drink plenty of fluids if you develop diarrhea to prevent dehydration. Inform your doctor if the diarrhea is severe or persistent. Your doctor may also monitor your blood pressure and liver function during the treatment.

Tanstrive 80mg Tablet may cause serious side effects like liver problems, lung inflammation, increased blood pressure, changes in heart rhythm, bleeding, severe allergic reactions, and thyroid problems. It may harm an unborn baby, so inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be avoided during treatment and for 1 week after the last dose. Inform your doctor before any surgery because Tanstrive 80mg Tablet may affect wound healing.

Treatment of Thyroid cancer : Tanstrive 80mg Tablet is used to treat thyroid cancer that has spread to other body parts (mutant medullary thyroid cancer) with a RET mutation and to treat advanced or metastatic thyroid cancer that is resistant to radioactive iodine treatment (RET fusion-positive thyroid cancer).
Treatment of Lung cancer : Tanstrive 80mg Tablet is used to treat a specific type of lung cancer (non-small cell lung cancer).
