Sylate-M 500 Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of bleeding. It works by preventing the breakdown of clots and controls excessive bleeding during menstruation (periods).

Sylate-M 500 Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.

It may cause side effects like skin rash, headache, nausea, and loss of appetite. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have liver or kidney problems, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It might cause dizziness, if happens better to avoid driving or machinery work. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

In Bleeding

Sylate-M 500 Tablet helps normal blood clotting, which reduces the bleeding during menstruation. It helps to prevent excessive loss of blood, stops bleeding and enhances the healing process. Sylate-M 500 Tablet blocks certain chemicals that causes pain and thus gives relief. This helps prevent complications of excessive bleeding such as hemorrhage. It is advisable to use the medicine as prescribed for it to be effective.

Side effects of Sylate-M Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Sylate-M Tablet

How Sylate-M Tablet works

Sylate-M 500 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ethamsylate and Mefenamic Acid. Ethamsylate is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of clots and controls excessive bleeding during menstruation (periods). Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Driving
UNSAFE

Sylate-M 500 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sylate-M 500 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Sylate-M 500 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Sylate-M 500 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sylate-M 500 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Sylate-M Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Sylate-M 500 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

why shld ur doctor give u something which vl affect ur baby. doctors also need to increase there patients by giving gud results. but i still dont know why i daily get such suspicious questions abt ur doctors. if my saying makes a differece. den no it wont affect ur child but then u need to know im also a doctor with almost equal qualification as ur doctor. n plz if u dont trust theone u are getting treated rt. now change him now.
