Eat a balanced diet, stay physically active, quit smoking, and limit alcohol intake.

Some people may experience side effects such as stomach upset, heartburn, muscle pain, headache, dizziness, or easy bruising. These are usually mild and temporary. If you notice unusual bleeding, persistent muscle pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or black stools, stop the medicine and contact your doctor immediately.
