How Solubin C Eye Drop works

Solubin C Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Chloramphenicol which treat eye infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy after an allergy or infection. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
