Solitral Capsule ER is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps relax the muscles of the bladder and prostate gland and relieve pain and irritation. It also helps to regulate the urge to pass urine.
Solitral Capsule ER may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. Take it regularly at the same time each day to get the most benefit from it. You should not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. However, you should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.

If not treated, there is a risk that the urine flow can be completely blocked. Solitral Capsule ER relaxes the muscles in the bladder and prostate. Together, they can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make urination easier. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.
How to use Solitral Capsule ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Solitral Capsule ER may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Solitral Capsule ER works
Solitral Capsule ER is a combination of two medicines: Alfuzosin and Solifenacin, which relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Alfuzosin is an alpha-blocker while Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. They work by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so that urine is passed more easily. This prevents frequent, urgent, or uncontrolled urination.
