Product introduction

Shotmax Spray should be applied only to intact skin unless otherwise directed by a doctor. A thick layer is usually applied to the area to be treated. The numbing effect depends on how long the product is left on the skin and the size of the area treated. Use only the prescribed amount and limit the treated area.

Most side effects are mild and occur at the site of application. These may include redness, burning sensation, and swelling. They are usually short-lived and resolve on their own after the medicine is removed. If severe irritation, persistent discomfort, or signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash or swelling, develop, stop using it and consult your doctor.

Shotmax Spray should not be used in individuals with known allergy to lidocaine, prilocaine, or other similar local anesthetics. It should not be applied to open wounds, damaged skin, or near the eyes. Applying the medicine over large areas, using it for longer than recommended, or repeated applications can increase absorption into the bloodstream and raise the risk of serious side effects.

The treated area may feel numb for some time, so care should be taken to avoid injury, extreme heat, or cold until normal sensation returns. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be based on medical advice. Always inform a doctor about other medicines being used, especially other local anesthetics, to avoid additive effects.

Uses of Shotmax Spray

  • Local anesthesia (Numb tissues in a specific area)

Benefits of Shotmax Spray

Local anesthesia (Numb tissues in a specific area)
Shotmax Spray provides local anesthesia by temporarily numbing the skin or mucosal surface at the site of application. It helps reduce pain and discomfort during minor medical procedures such as injections, minor surgeries, and laser treatments, allowing these procedures to be performed more comfortably. When used during sexual activities, the temporary reduction in sensitivity may help in managing premature ejaculation by decreasing local sensation for a short duration. The effect remains localized to the area of application and wears off gradually after use.

Side effects of Shotmax Spray

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
Common side effects of Shotmax
  • Application site burning
  • Application site redness
  • Application site swelling

How to use Shotmax Spray

Hold the container with the extension tube aimed at the area of application. To spray, press the button. Allow a 2 second gap between two consecutive sprays. Use it as advised by your doctor or also check the label for directions before use.

How Shotmax Spray works

Shotmax Spray is a combination of two anesthetics that act by blocking nerve signal transmission in the applied area. After application, it penetrates the skin or mucosa and stabilizes nerve cell membranes. This prevents pain and sensory signals from reaching the brain, resulting in temporary loss of sensation. On genital application, this localized desensitization reduces sensitivity for a limited period, which may help delay sensation during sexual activity.

Quick tips

  • Use Shotmax Spray only on clean, dry, and intact skin to ensure even absorption and predictable numbing. Applying it on broken, irritated, or inflamed skin can increase absorption and raise the risk of side effects.
  • When using it during sexual activity, apply it well in advance and wash off the area before intercourse if advised, to prevent transfer of the medicine to a partner and reduce the risk of numbness in unintended areas.
  • Avoid touching the eyes, mouth, or nose after application. Wash hands thoroughly after use to prevent accidental spread to sensitive areas.
  • Since the treated area may feel numb, protect it from injury, excessive heat, or cold until normal sensation returns. Avoid scratching or rubbing the area, even if the sensation feels reduced.
  • Use the medicine strictly as prescribed or directed, especially in children, older adults, or individuals with underlying medical conditions, to ensure safe and effective use.
