Saflab Kit is a combination medicine used in the syndromic treatment of vaginal discharge. It stops the growth of microorganisms, also prevents any further spread of the infection. It balances good bacteria in the guts to prevent diarrhea which may occur as a side effect of this medicine.

It is advised to take Saflab Kit as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. How Saflab Kit works

Saflab Kit is a combination of four medicines: Secnidazole, Fluconazole, Azithromycin and Lactobacillus. Secnidazole is an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Fluconazole is an antifungal which works by preventing the formation of the fungal protective covering which is essential for the survival of the fungi. Azithromycin is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Lactobacillus is a probiotic. It works by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively.

Pregnancy

What if you forget to take Saflab Kit?

If you miss a dose of Saflab Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
